Living in a stressful, fast paced world during the season of thankfulness and gratitude can be difficult. The easiest place to start practicing being thankful is in nature, celebrating what’s right in front of you. Join a naturalist for a guided hike through Emmenegger Nature Park. Practice forest bathing techniques that will guide you on a path to gratefulness and hear about how nature gives back to you in return. This hike will take place on the Bluff Creek trail on the long loop, which measures to be about 2 miles long. Wear good walking shoes, dress for the weather, and be prepared for steep inclines and declines. Meet the naturalist at the trailhead located at the larger parking lot on the south end of the park. Directions:

To get to Emmenegger Nature Park, go west on Cragwold Rd. (past the Powder Valley entrance), cross over the highway and go south (left) on Stoneywood.
