The leaves, they are a-changin'. Come take a walk through the fall colors at Emmenegger Nature Park with an MDC Naturalist. Hear about the fascinating process of why leaves on trees change and learn about the many other ways that plants and animals get ready for the upcoming season changes. This hike will take place on the Bluff Creek trail on the long loop, which measures to be about 2 miles long. Wear good walking shoes, dress for the weather, and be prepared for steep inclines and declines. Meet the naturalist at the trailhead located at the larger parking lot on the south end of the park. Directions:

To get to Emmenegger Nature Park, go west on Cragwold Rd. (past the Powder Valley entrance), cross over the highway and go south (left) on Stoneywood.
