| Curious about native plants and how to get them in your yard? Wondering how to get started? This hands-on gardening class will walk you through the process of dealing with unwanted turf grass, preparing the space, and thoughtful planting. Native plant enthusiasts, books, and field guides will be on hand for a thoughtful discussion about the benefits of your own "backyard nature park". Please bring your own gloves, spades, water, snacks, and any other tools you may find helpful. Each participant will take home their own native Missouri wildflower to begin the journey. |
