Mentored dove hunt for four mobility impaired individuals ages 18 and older. Track chair will be provided for the four registered mobility impaired participants during both practice shooting and field dove hunting. Dove management talk and practice shotgun shooting at clays will occur at 11:30 AM at Rolla Shooting Club (noon meal provided). Afternoon / evening dove hunt with a MDC mentor for each participant. Complete program and event details will be sent to registered participants by August 26, 2024. Participants will need to have their Hunter Education Certificate, Small Game Hunting Permit, and Migratory Bird Hunting Permit. All shotguns, shotshells, earplugs, and safety glasses will be provided by MDC; if the participant chooses to bring their own 12 gauge or 20 gauge shotgun, MDC will provide the shotshells.
