Join us for an exciting Nighttime Crappie Fishing Clinic at Truman Lake, taking place on Sunday, July 14th at 8:00 PM. Whether you're a novice angler, or a seasoned angler looking for a different experience, this clinic is the perfect opportunity to enhance your crappie fishing skills. Known for its exceptional crappie fishery, Truman Lake offers a prime location to learn and improve your crappie fishing techniques. We provide all the necessary fish equipment, including poles, life jackets, and bait, ensuring your convenience. Please bring a small, folding camp chair or plan on standing. Note we will be on the water several hours, so bring along bug spray, a water bottle, and any other small items you might need during that time. If you prefer to bring your own gear or Coast Guard-approved life jackets, feel free to do so. Our knowledgeable instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of nighttime crappie fishing, allowing you to expand your angling skills. We will also teach you how to clean your catch at the conclusion of the clinic, so you can savor your well-deserved success. We will want the best fishing experience possible. We plan to meet at the boat ramp by the Truman State Park Marina. We will email or call if the location needs to be adjusted. Please note that seating is limited, so we encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your spot for an enjoyable crappie fishing experience. For those 16-64 years old, a valid fishing license is required to participate in this clinic. For further information and registration questions, please reach out to Ginger Miller (ginger.miller@mdc.mo.gov) or Chris Brooke (chris.brooke@mdc.mo.gov). Ginger L Miller
