Paul Moffett's photography will be on display in the Cape Nature Center Lobby for the month of August. Come meet Paul and hear him speak at our Nature at Night: Birds of Confluence. Cape Girardeau Public Library will also be on display in our auditorium. These graphite drawings were created by members of the community in the Adventures in Drawing: Creative Aging Workshop at Cape Girardeau Public Library. This workshop is part of an initiative that was adopted by the library to improve the health and wellness of adults aged 55 and up. The 8-week workshop was led by Professor Joshua Newth, who taught all of the drawing techniques and skills needed to complete the students' final piece. Advancing Creative Aging Through State Library Leadership Initiative is a joint initiative of Califa Group, Wyoming State Library, Missouri State Library, and Lifetime Arts.
