| If you are interested in conducting a sustainable timber sale or gaining more knowledge on them this is the workshop for you! Join MDC foresters to discuss timber sales and look at some areas that have been recently harvested. There will be a portable sawmill onsite for demonstration purposes as well. Topics discussed will include: getting help from a professional forester, wildlife habitat considerations, steps for a sustainable timber harvest, best management practices (BMPs), harvest methods, among other things. Bring your questions and be prepared to take a walk through the woods. Please register online for the event.
