No registration required (ages 14+) There are 233 species of woodpeckers worldwide and Missouri is home to seven species that contribute to healthy ecosystems. Join Missouri River Bird Observatory staff for an in-depth look at woodpeckers' distinctive markings, communication behavior and habitats.
