| Registration required (ages 8+) Leaves have fallen, revealing secretive nests once hidden among the branches. Join a naturalist on a hike to discover the amazing variety of bird nests. From cavities in trees to platforms of sticks and carefully woven cups, a bird's nest is designed to protect eggs and nestlings from danger. We'll investigate real bird nests and use our inspiration to create our own decorative nests from natural materials! If accommodations are needed, please e-mail the instructor after registering and at least one week prior to the program. |
