| Registration required at https://www.nature.org/en-us/get-involved/how-to-help/volunteer/bioblitz-for-the-blues/ (ages 16+) Join the Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Heartland Conservation Alliance at TNC's Little Blue River property and nearby areas owned by Jackson County Parks and Rec for a BioBlitz for the Blues. This volunteer workday will help collect ecological data on the vegetation, habitat and wildlife near the Little Blue River and Blue River for baseline data prior to the start of restoration activities. The iNaturalist and Seek apps will be utilized for this event. Natural resource specialists will be on-hand to guide the sampling efforts and assist with the identification process. |
