Watch the setting sun sink below the western horizon and listen for creatures of the night as you walk the trail in the evening twilight to the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. Catch the full Hunter's moon after it rises in the eastern sky before you return to the parking lot in the glow of the moon and discover shadows of the roadside plants dancing beneath your feet. Dress for the weather. Bring a water bottle and a walking stick if you have one. Meet at parking lot "L" about 4 miles from the front entrance. Sunset: 6:05 pm Moonrise: 6:00 pm Anna Cooke
