Discover how nature comes alive at night at August A Busch Memorial Conservation Area for our biggest event of the year! Inside, you can learn all about nocturnal mammals through touch with our pelts and skulls, explore our inflatable cave, or dissect a real owl pellet! Or head outside to view and identify wild moths with an entomologist, enjoy the sights and sounds of nocturnal critters in their natural habitat on a guided night hike, learn about how light pollution affects native wildlife, or bring a blanket and relax in our open field for a great view of the Perseids Meteor Shower and stargaze through one of our telescopes. The Raptor Rehabilitation Project will also be here with live owls from 8pm to 10pm! This is a free event open to the public; no registration needed. Flashlights or headlamps are recommended for some outdoor activities. Sabrina Hansen
