(All ages) Take a walk to the Confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. Along the way listen for owls, coyotes, and cricket frogs while you watch the fireflies dancing around the Black-eyed Susans. “Lightning bugs” as they are often called, communicate using “cold light” as they cruise for mates. As we return to the parking lot and take a short walk to watch the sunset at the Cropland Overlook, we will see all around us the Fourth of July fireworks. Meet at lot “L” Bring a water bottle. |
