The “Longest Day of the Year” fishing event to recognize millions of Americans and their families and care givers that are dealing with memory loss. The event will be hosted Bois D Arc educational pond from 8:00am to 8:00pm, it’s a come and go event. Come anytime during this time frame to fish and commemorate that so many are suffering from memory loss and the burden on families and caregivers. Join us for a day of fishing, family, and fun. This event is an opportunity to spend time with family and time outdoors. The Missouri Department of Conservation and the Greater Missouri Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is excited to offer this Discover Nature Fishing event to individuals experiencing memory loss, their caregivers and loved ones. This event is accessible, and all equipment is provided. No fishing permit will be required for participants. Registration is required.
