Update 6-10-23 at 7:16 am: Due to localised thunderstorms, kids event activities are on hold due to lighting. At 12 noon the lake will open for everyone to fish for free until the end of free fishing weekend! Please watch the weather and be aware of lighting, wind and rain! Join us in Carthage Missouri for a free kid's event for youth ages 15 and under from 8 am to 12 noon. You will need to bring your own fishing tackle. the lake will be open for everyone to fish after the end of the event at noon. Statewide limits still apply, limit of four channel catfish per youth/person, see posted regulations for more info. Free Fishing Weekend is June 10th and 11th in Missouri! ANDREW D RHODES
