Did you know there are seventeen species of milkweed (family Asclepiadaceae) in Missouri? These plants are critical to the survival of the monarch butterfly. Look closely and you will also find tussock moth caterpillars, long horn milkweed beetles, spiders on the hunt, and an array of other critters that depend on milkweed. Join us online to learn about the various species of milkweed, where each can be found, and what creatures live on and around these plants. Registered participants will receive the program link both the day before and day of the program. Registration required. All ages, although the program is geared for adults. Becky Matney
