| This workshop will coincide with the annual Moberly Master Gardeners Spring Plant Sale. Attendees will learn about successful tree planting. Topics include: species selection based on location and objectives, individual tree planting for homeowners vs tree planting for ecological function for landowners, identifying compacted soils and how they impact the planting process, post planting tree care, and protection from wildlife damage. There will be a tree planting demonstration and attendees will receive educational materials for their personal reference. |
