Runge Nature Center is once again partnering with the Grow Native! program of the Missouri Prairie Foundation to offer the 2023 Native Plant Sale. Using native plants in landscaping is a simple way to beautify your property while benefiting pollinators, butterflies, songbirds, and other wildlife. Not only are native plants easy to care for, but there is a native tree, shrub, vine or other plant that is perfect for every situation. The Grow Native! program will offer free native landscaping literature as well as garden signs and books for sale. Shoppers can stroll through the sale and purchase plants from each vendor. Some vendors accept cash, check, or credit cards; some only cash or checks. Volunteers will be available to load plants into vehicles for any buyers needing assistance. No registration required. All ages invited. Updates will be posted below as vendors are confirmed and pre-order information becomes available.
