| Woodpeckers are most visible during the winter months, fliting and flying through the forest in search of food and shelter. You might also hear them drumming or chattering throughout the day. Did you know Missouri is home to seven different types of woodpeckers? Can you name them all? Join us for a beginner’s guide to each species that calls Missouri home. After the program, you’re welcome to go outside on our trail or visit our wildlife viewing window to watch for woodpeckers. |
