Call Adam at Chillicothe MDC office with questions. 660-646-6122. Participants must be 14 years old minimum. Some prior experience is suggested but beginners are very welcome. One note is that once we begin, there is no where to leave the river until we reach the takeout location. Participants may use their own kayak or canoe but one can be provided along with paddles and life jacket if needed. Call instructor with your preferences and needs. Bring snacks, and plenty to drink. No food or drink will be provided. Your kayak will have room for a small cooler, and plenty of room in a canoe. The float will depend greatly on water levels. The float location may change accordingly and the instructor will update you, on all changes, as needed. Secondary location will be the Platte River in the Platte Falls Conservation Area. Directions:

On Hwy. 6 go about 1 mile east of Gallatin. Turn on 239 gravel and the access is a parking lot and boat ramp on the east.
Cancellation Policies:

You must cancel your registration before Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
Age Policy:

All registrants for this event must be a minimum age of 14 years old by 9/28/2022.
