This program includes rifle safety, operation, shooting fundamentals, maintenance, and safe storage.

.22 rifles are small-caliber firearms with a small “bang” and very little “kick,” but big fun! A .22 rifle is great for small-game hunting and target shooting. Join us at Rocky Fork Lakes shooting range to learn how to shoot .22 rifles safely. This program is a great follow-up to a Hunter Education class, although Hunter Education is not required. Participants ages 11-18 must have a parent or guardian with them for the duration of the program. All equipment will be provided. Bring a water bottle, wear closed-toe shoes, and dress for the weather. Rocky Fork Lakes is north of Columbia off Hwy. 63. Registration required. Ages 11+ Kevin Lohraff
