This year the nature center is celebrating all the colors of the nature. What comes to mind? The colors of the rainbow of course. Which does not include brown. Brown on a plant usually means dead, especially in August when it is so hot and dry. But we do have some brown flower amongst our native plants. We will be learning about them and how unique they are. We will also take a look at this time of the year and why many plants may appear or be dead. If you are participating in Cape Nature Center’s “A Year in Color” this program earns a green bead. JAMIE S KOEHLER
