| Duck, duck.... and another duck! Wood ducks are cavity nesters and get their names from the way they’ll spend their time in trees. Help a local wood duck with a wood project of your own, by offering a box as a potential home. Before registering, please consider whether your property has the appropriate habitat for wood ducks nearby- they require ponds, lakes, and other backwater environments. If you’ve seen ducks around where you’d put your box, you’re on the right track. Please register all who plan to participate. Limit 1 box per family. |
