This class is very beginner. We will be having some dry ground instruction followed by floating and paddling in the Chillicothe Litton Center pond. Definitely meant for beginners that have never been in a canoe or kayak before, or with very little experience. MDC will provide canoes or kayaks along with paddles and life jackets. A brief part of the class will be self rescues if your boat tips over. Dress to get in the water if you would like, but not required.
