Join us as we learn more about the amazing monarch butterfly as we read a book, and discuss the Missourians for Monarchs (M4M) program. While this program is designed for those 2nd to 4th grade, anyone is welcome to attend. Missourians for Monarchs is a group of over 45 organizations that have come together to help monarch butterflies and other pollinators. Over the past 20 plus years, we have seen fewer monarch butterflies. This is due to many reasons, the greatest being the loss of habitat. Missourians for Monarchs' goal is to plant pollinator habitat across the state in order to support monarchs and other pollinators. Everyone can do their part by planting milkweed and other native flowers on their land, in their gardens, or in a pot on their porch. Together, we can make Missouri a welcoming home for butterflies, bees, birds, and other pollinators. Each person attending will need to register, or if there is a class, please let us know how many from each class will attend, and just the teacher can register. You will receive a link to Webex by 8am the morning of the program. Please check your junkmail/spam if you haven't received it by the program time. Shelly Colatskie
