| Walk-in (all ages) Turtles are fascinating and a beneficial part of Missouri's ecosystems! Join us as we see, touch and learn about a variety of native land and aquatic turtles. Gain insight into the habitats, life cycles, survival skills and specialized structures of these amazing, shelled reptiles. You will have an opportunity to visit with our special guests Cindy McManis and Crystal Parson, The Turtle Ladies! Meet Missouri's smallest turtle, the stinkpot and touch a live Eastern snapping turtle! If accommodations are needed, please e-mail the instructor at least one week prior to the program. |
