Let’s look for frogs, toads, and salamanders in the ponds of Compton Hollow Conservation Area. We will wade into the water, use nets to capture these amazing amphibians, and identify each species. Amphibians can tell us a lot about water quality, and spring is a great time to observe eggs and larvae. Meet at the Nature Center. Transportation will be provided. Please wear clothes and shoes that can get wet and muddy. Bring a water bottle. All supplies, snacks, and drinking water will be provided. Ages 12-17. |
