Please join us to learn more about trout fishing in Missouri and to get some hands-on fishing experience! In this program, we will have a 1/2 hour of Angler Education, where we will go over some fishing basics and talk about trout fishing. Then, we will have 2-2.5 hours of hands-on trout fishing time. Fishing equipment and supplies will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you wish. This program is free to the public. Any adults accompanying children will need a fishing permit in order to fish. This event will allow for catch-and-keep for anyone with a valid Trout Stamp, and we will comply with state catch limits of 4 per day per person. If you plan to harvest, we recommend bringing a cooler. It is recommended that all participants and attendees bring water and snacks or a lunch with you. Please be prepared to be outside for several hours in potentially cold weather. To register your child, you may need to make a family account, or add them to an existing family account. You can also make you child their own, separate account. Please meet at Lake 1 at August A Busch Memorial Conservation Area. Sabrina Hansen
