If you want to grow native plants without a big commitment of time and space, try container gardening. It is also a way to use native plants as an attractive accent to an already beautiful garden. Runge Naturalist Austin Lambert will share his expertise on container gardening. In the second part of his presentation, Austin will introduce iNaturalist, a free phone app that helps with insect identification. Is the caterpillar you spy eating your new flowers an "Oh no!" or an "I’m so excited!” situation? iNaturalist will help you decide. This program is part of Runge Nature Center's new monthly series, Amazing Native Gardens. Registration required. Ages 14+ Becky Matney
