Caves are cool… literally! Did you know that Perry County is home to hundreds of caves? Most of these caves aren’t accessible to the public so the specialized animals living within remain a mystery to humans. Come learn more about these unique habitats and the critters within as we take a cave tour with the City of Perryville. For those participating in the Cape Nature Center’s “A Year in Color,” this program will earn a yellow outdoor adventure bead. This program is part of the City of Perryville’s “Wild Caving” program and will consist of two parts: an informational class at the Perry Park Center, March 17 from 6-7pm, and the caving experience in a Perry County cave, March 19 from 9am-12pm. The informational pre-meeting is required for all participants. All caving equipment will be provided. Expectations and safety information will be emailed to you upon registration. For more information, please contact the Cape Nature Center. Cameron Johnston
