Join a network of thousands of citizen scientists collecting biological, chemical, and physical assessment data on Missouri's wadable streams! Introduction to Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring (VWQM) is the entry level of monitoring. This two-part educational presentation will introduce the topics of watershed mapping, site selection, stream discharge, and biological monitoring. Participants may continue on to become certified to submit data by completing a stream-side certification training later this spring.
