| Registration required (ages 12+) What's left to identify trees when we no longer have the luxury of examining their leaves? Trees in winter still have many distinguishing features, including bark, buds and leaf scars. We'll trek the Discovery Center's grounds with dichotomous keys in hand to learn how these features vary from one Missouri tree species to the next. If accommodations are needed, please e-mail the instructor after registering and at least one week prior to the program. |
