Registration required (ages 14+) Native plants are crucial for wildlife as they prepare for winter. Native plants are not only food sources for birds and mammals, but they also provide overwintering habitat for most of our native insects. Join our native landscape specialists for a walk around the grounds to observe some of these plant/insect relationships. Bring your questions about your own native plantings and learn how you can help the wildlife in your own yard during the winter months. If accommodations are needed, please e-mail the instructor after registering and at least one week prior to the program. |
