Watch the sunset high over the prairie and then take a leisurely stroll on a wooded trail to the Confluence. Watch the full Beaver Moon rise over the Confluence and cast its silvery beam over the waters of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. We will listen for migrating ducks and geese as they pass high overhead. Meet at the Cropland Overlook (lot "K) about 4 1/2 miles from the front gate. Dress for the weather with boots or shoes that may get wet or muddy. MDC asks all participants to observe current local social distancing and masking guidelines. Bringing and wearing face coverings is encouraged when appropriate. Patricia A Behle
