Registration required (ages 9+) Join us to learn the art and skills the earliest humas used to hunt game. Atlatl throwing is gaining popularity as a fun target shooting sport too! This introductory program will teach the fundamentals of atlatl. Participants will learn about different types of atlatls and darts. The workshop will cover proper techniques including stance, grip, form, release and safety. Participants will then put their new skills to use with hands-on practice using atlatls and targets. Get ready to meet the challenge! If accommodations are needed, please e-mail the instructor after registering and at least one week prior to the program. |
