This program is for ages 6 and up.This cane pole fishing lesson will include all of the basics including proper fish handling. Participants must be free from symptoms of illness, must not have had contact with any person who has symptoms of illness within two weeks, and are strongly encouraged to wear a covering over mouth and nose. This program meets at the Educational Fishing Lakes and Hatchery in Forest Park. We will provide instruction, poles and bait. Participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants 16 and over who plan to fish will need a valid fishing license which can be purchased here . DENNIS E COOKE

Location Information

Originally established in 1879, the Forest Park Hatchery was the first fish culture activity in Missouri. Today this fish hatchery is no longer operated for fish farming but rather for educational programming.

Cancellation Policies:

You must cancel your registration before Saturday, October 2, 2021.

Age Policy:

All registrants for this event must be between 6 and 99 years of age by 10/2/2021.
