This program includes rifle safety, operation, shooting fundamentals, maintenance, and safe storage.

Holiday traditions are something near and dear to many of us, and one of the best fall activities is carving pumpkins. Bring your family out for a morning of pumpkin carving at Parma Woods, but not in a traditional way. We'll be using .22 rimfire rifles to "carve" ghosts, vampires, cats, and other Halloween favorites into the pumpkins. Before we shoot, there will be a short introduction to firearm safety and handling in the classroom to accommodate shooters of all skillsets. Borrow one of our rifles, or feel free to bring your own. Ammo will be supplied. Dress for the weather and bring drinking water. Alek Lanter
