The environment around us is full of materials that can be used to make things. Whether you're out camping and forgot a piece of your kit, or you are lost in the wilderness and facing a survival situation, it can be useful to know how to turn natural materials into tools. In this class we will learn how to create cordage, or rope. After a short discussion of material types, we will get hands on time to create our own measure of cordage with locally gathered items. Supplies will be provided. Bring drinking water. |
