In the oxbows and bayous of southern Missouri lurks a monster! But have no fear, alligator gar are one of the coolest fish around. These gentle giants are among the largest freshwater fish in the world, and are largely unchanged dating back over 100 million years. Join us for a virtual program highlighting the awesome adaptations that make this fish the king of the swamp. We will also discuss the hard work dedicated to conserving this ancient fish for another 100 million years.
