Got Milk (weed)? We have heard milkweeds are vital to the monarch butterfly lifecycle, but do you know how they are intertwined? We will look at the species of milkweeds found here in Missouri and across a wide variety of habitats, their amazing roots, and examine how the seeds float in the sky. Top to bottom, milkweeds provide food and shelter to an astonishing number of species other than the monarch butterfly. This program is geared toward adults but children are welcome to enjoy.
