| Join us for this exciting event! Experience stories of the western fur trade in the early 1800s when most of Missouri was still wilderness. See a replica of the keelboat Muskrat, which brought some modern mountain men home after an 860-mile journey on the Missouri River. Talk with fur trade reenactors in period dress. Touch animal furs and other artifacts. Have fun throwing a tomahawk and starting a fire with flint and steel. Enjoy presentations and videos in our auditorium and Amphitheatre. View a new exhibition and artwork that commemorate this important chapter in our state’s history. No registration required. All ages. |
