Do you want to learn more about invasive, non—native plants through hands on experiences? Powder Valley staff are offering a plant removal day on the Powder Valley grounds where you will not only learn to identify plants such as garlic mustard, beefsteak, and bush honeysuckle, but you will also participate in removing these plants from Tanglevine and Hickory Ridge Trails. This program will have a limit of 50 people with use of mask and social distancing practices. All ages are welcome and every person that will be in attendance needs to be registered for the program. Be sure to wear long pants, work/hiking boots, gloves, water, and bring insect repellent if needed, as we will be in the woods for a good portion of the program. In the case of inclement weather, the date will be postponed. We will meet at the staging area (pavilion) off of Tanglevine Trail. Shelly Colatskie
