Enjoy the sights and sounds of a spring evening as we take a leisurely walk to the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers. Notice the budding trees and the green new growth as it pushes up along the path. Smell the spring air and listen for the sounds of birds nesting in the trees and frogs and toads in the wet areas. In the event we are not able to walk to the confluence because of high water in the rivers and the bottomland near them, we walk the road along the upper fields. Dress for the weather and wear boots or shoes that can get muddy. Bring a water bottle and a walking stick if you have one. We will be wearing masks and follow social distancing guidelines. Meet at lot ā€œLā€, about 4 miles from the entrance. REBECCA A RODRIGUEZ
