Everyone knows about the reclusive morel, but what if we told you summer provides a blaze orange mushroom in such abundance that it is nearly impossible to overlook? Several species of chanterelle mushrooms call Missouri home, and they are rarely collected by the morel hungry Missourian. Join us virtually to learn about the habits, uses, and identifying characteristics of this mushroom so prized by chefs worldwide. April is the perfect time to prepare to forage the chanterelle bounty to come! Alex Holmes
