Spring is upon us and some of our slimy friends are moving to breeding ponds across the state to begin laying eggs. Join us virtually as we discover some of the salamanders that call Missouri home, the fascinating life cycles of salamanders, and what we can do to help our amphibian friends. We will also craft a string art “gummy lizard”. The event will take place on the WebEx platform, you will receive a link and more information for the program about 24 hours before the program. You will need to purchase the following to do the craft: 1. Wood board (one from Hobby Lobby or Michaels will work or you can purchase from a hardware store and cut to about 8x11 size) 2. Nails (any type of nail will work but should be 1 to 1 ½ inches in length) 3. Embroidery string (choose any color that you like) 4. Hammer 5. Wood stain is optional and will need to be done before the program. Nichole Wheaton
