Missouri Prairie Foundation, a MDC partner in Grow Native! creates a new Top Ten Native Plant list monthly for topics ranging from hummingbird favorites to the natives for a shady spot. Each day of our Native Plant Week we will kick off with a different Top Ten list. If you have a need for a list we did not feature during the week please check out their many lists here. Native Plant Seminar programs are open for anyone to watch but are prepared with adult gardeners and landowners in mind. Don’t forget the preorder drive by native plant sale at the Cape Nature Center on March 13th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Plants may be pre ordered at Missouri Wildflowers Nursery, Ozark Soul Native Plants, or Forest Keeling before Wednesday, March 10 and picked up at the nature center on Saturday, March 13 between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. COVID precautions preclude any browsing or shopping on site. There will be no other vendors. Pre-ordered plants will be placed in your vehicle in the line at the front of the nature center.
