Chain link fences are a common part of Missouri’s urban landscapes and are decidedly not natural. But what happens when they are left undisturbed? Natural processes occur that result in an interesting and distinctive community of plants and animals. This virtual program features a study that was conducted examining chain link fences as ecological systems revealing educative interactions between natural phenomena and human activity. A link to this program will be sent to the email address associated with the MDC Events Account used to register for this program. (If you do not receive this email one day ahead of the program, check your “junk” email folder.) DAVID J BRUNS
