Registration required (ages 12+) Starting a campfire in the dead of winter can be a challenge. Learn how to improve your fire-staring skills with some simple tricks from the pros. We'll discover which wood burns best, how to split a log for kindling and how to build a campfire for any weather. These skills will translate to your fire place or backyard fire pit. Take home a homemade firestarter and let's get burning. This is an all outdoor program so dress for the weather. You will receive an e-mail from the instructor the day prior to the event if weather conditions indicate a need to cancel the program. Masks are required for this program. Pat P Whalen
