Learn from our experienced instructors wildlife identification, habits and habitats, regulations, safety, hunting strategies, equipment and game care. Attend this class to increase your success in the field.

This ladies' wing shooting program and duck hunt is designed for those who are new to/or are beginning duck hunters. This is a 2-day commitment. On Saturday December 5th, you will meet at the Duck Creek Conservation Area Headquarters (Brown Building) where we will cover safety, appropriate firearms and ammunition, distance estimation, along with a duck wing ID, and practice wing shooting. Dress appropriately as we will be outside for most of the event. Please bring a 20 gauge or 12 gauge shotgun. If you do not have access to one, please let me know. Ammunition will be provided. Early morning on Friday December 11th, you will meet with your duck hunting guide at the Southeast Missouri location that your guide will designate. You will duck hunt the majority of the day. (Many locations will need waders and your guide will let you know prior to the Friday December 11th if you will need them. If you do not have access to waders, please let me know) Everyone need to have completed the Hunter Education course prior the first day of the event. A confirmation email and list of “what to bring the day of the hunt” will be sent closer to the event. Masks will be required.
