| Walk-in (all ages) "Nature Inspired" features artwork by Joyce Yarbrough, well-known for "drawing with her scissors." A former artist at Hallmark in Kansas City, she utilizes a variety of mediums including pastel, watercolor and scissors-cut paper. " I love the curves and colors of nature, and strive to select which medium best captures each subjects life entergy...be it birds, butterflies, plants, landscapes or feathers!" Joyce's artistic talents have been displayed in museums, galleries, fine art shows and homes around the world. The Discovery Center invites you to come meet the artist, Joyce Yarbrough, and appreciate her unique and beautiful artwork. |
